The Buried Life

If you have never seen this show then you are seriously missing out. I stumbled upon it not too long ago and it has honestly changed my whole perspective on life.

It's about four (very attractive) Canadian boys,  that were fed up with racing through life with no direction and decided to slow down and focus on what's really important. They made a list of 100 things they wanted to do before they died, bought a big purple bus, got their own show on MTV, and then set out on the road to accomplish their goals. What makes their efforts even more memorable is the fact that for every item they do on their list, they help someone else cross off something on their's.

I want to be able to look back on my life when I'm lying on my deathbed and honestly say that I don't regret a single moment. I want to be able to say that not a second was wasted and that I accomplished, or at least tried my absolute hardest, to achieve my goals and dreams. I want to be able to say that life didn't scare me, that I took every chance that came my way and made the most out of what God gave me. When I die I want a part of me to live on through my stories and through every person I touched.
I want to die knowing that I lived

So here is the question...
Here is my current list

  3. I've seen the ads for this show on MTV.com but I hadn't watched it. I originally thought the concept was cool, now I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Before I die I would like to forgive (everything), live completely green, and feel at peace.

PS- Thanks for the last comment you left me. That poem was really personal and I was really hesitant to post it. I had this thought that people would wonder what the heck it was. So, thanks for being so supportive, I truly appreciate it.
